Martin Fryer is a living legend of Ultra Running in Australia setting numerous distance records throughout his domestic and international career. Martin competed at the highest level in the most arduous Ultra Marathons on the globe as well as winning Commonwealth and World Championship events setting World Records that are yet to be improved on. Martin was a master of control as a Type A high achieving adult that enabled success in both sport and in career, but in the darkness of the lonely night during a multi day race when his mind and body had succumbed to that control, he discovered a more powerful energy source. Martin's achievements may not be known by most distance runners that is part due to Martin's low fanfare character, so I'm happy to share his inspiring story with you, Enjoy!

Liam went into Biwa with a less than ideal preparation block as far as time went, due to the horrific summer bushfire season that many won't forget and being denied access into more preferred races further into the year. With time away from work granted, Liam knuckled down for 4 weeks of high mileage at altitude to give himself the best chance of performing at his best and qualifying for the Tokyo Olympic Games. Liam discusses how the day unfolded, the prep leading in and the uncertainty of what lies ahead with the outbreak of Coronavirus, Enjoy!

His child hood and early adult life struggles he held close to his chest, are now pinned out in the open for the running world to see and understand. Harry, like most of us, is still discovering who he is as a person and an athlete whilst chasing his dream of his first Olympic team in Tokyo. Harry is currently training and preparing for the Hamburg Marathon come April 19th over in Iten, Kenya under the watchful eye and guidance of the famed Italian coach Renato Canova. Harry is very upfront with his struggles and shares some insight into his previous races and current training that I know you will enjoy listening to.
